New to NYSID? You can register for continuing education or nonmatriculated courses for credit through the Institute for Continuing and Professional Studies (ICPS)

Returning NYSID students, faculty, and staff:  Log-in to the portal by entering your ID number (User Name) and the Password you were given when you applied to the college or set up your account. If you do not have your password, use the forgotten password link at the top of the page, or visit the Information Technology Office at 70th Street. To get an ID card, visit the Office of the Registrar (for office hours, call ext. 209). 


NYSID provides closing information via phone recording - call 212 472 1500.
Weather-related closings:
NYSID closes when NYC public schools close. Closings can be checked on cancellations.com, NYC Dept of Education website.

Continuing Education at NYSID
NYSID Institute for Continuing and Professional Studies (ICPS)
Take courses in a range of topics of interest to professional designers at NYSID. NYSID now offers noncredit professional development courses that carry CEUs and  LUs as well as a variety of courses for credit.
